The modest beginnings of the Williamsport Country Club date back to 1909. Investors accumulated funds totaling $25,000 to purchase the Hepburn Farm. The 1910 annual meeting was held at the Park Hotel. Soon after, the club's numerous golf and social activities began to thrive.

The 9-hole "Executive" course at the White Deer Golf Course facility in Montgomery, Pennsylvania features 1,353 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 28. Executive golf course opened in 1990. Steve Parlante manages the course as the General Manager.
Located amidst the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Southern Lycoming County, White Deer Golf Course is one of the most unique public golf facilities in all of Pennsylvania. White Deer truly has "something for everyone." This exceptional complex features 36 holes of championship golf, a fully stocked pro shop with large practice facility.
On April 17, 1964, on 388 acres of farmland, White Deer Golf Course was established. The Vintage Course was the first installment with the Challenge Course arriving on June 30, 1990. There is now 14,340 yards of golf over two 18-hole courses and a par 3 executive course. Time after time White Deer has won the hearts of those who golf here as their favorite course. 36 holes of championship golf and our par-3 executive course can accommodate any golfer at any level.
Located in central PA, White Deer Golf Complex is unrivaled in beauty when it comes to the landscape and scenic view of the surrounding mountains. Conveniently located a short distance from the city of Williamsport , White Deer Golf Complex is moments away from many of Lycoming County's tourist attractions, hotels, dinning, and shopping areas.
Take Route 15 South from Williamsport approximately 9 miles to Allenwood Camp Lane (you'll pass a cemetery and West Pharmaceuticals on the left, see the sign picture) The right hand turn will lead to the entrance of the complex (another right hand turn). You will pass the course driving range on the left and the large parking area is on the right. The Pro Shop is at the back of the complex past the restaurant.
